Essentials of a Project Proposal

After joining AKRSP i am hearing a lot about projects and all the betterment it will cause in the life of the so called "beneficiareis" or Stakeholders what we call the subject of the Project. Well never undermine a Project and what it can do to specially to those who execute it or the NGO Mughuls. Lot of  paraphernalia typically comes with a project and you don't believe ( As I used to before joining here) that a hell lot of thinking, paper work and material resources are involved in the process of project development. All the stages of project cycle like Planning, Identification, formulation, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation are there self divided into steps which are based on atypical and incomprehensible Logical Frame Work Analysis.   To cut it short we are going to present here what a project proposal will compose of. It is an important process because it is submitted to donors and the likelihood of getting anything out...

MPhil Economics, Quaid i Azam University Islamabad

These days I am preparing for the Mphil test of Economics of QAU Islamabad. It is more of a luck then preparation though because there are only 3 questions and no more. The problem is that you might read all those three question before going to bed the day before the test or if you are in the grip of bad karma then after reading all those book of Economics you will left out these three. Thus it is more like a game of chance. I admit not really being prepared for it becuause of my latest addiction and that to movies. Download them in a bulk and watching those all night long.     Well coming back to the topic the Mphil program in QAU is quite rigorous and perhaps the best in the country. It is composed of one year of course work and another for research. A sound base in Mathematics and statistics is must and usually people drop out beacuse of percentage requiement at the end of the course work. So unless you have a dedication and hard work it is not adviced to join this pr...

Towards Village

Going Home....... and that after being more than a year away is really sensational. Going to Chitral is best when it is summer but autumns has got its own colors too. Here is a collection through which I have tried capture that beauty. These pics have been taken on way onward from chitral. Many more to come.

Childhood Buddies

It seems a while we are grown up now. Even more the guy on the right is married. Time flies away. It used to be time when we only came to home for having a meal otherwise it was not unusual even not to left each other even sleeping. However the harsh reality of life is that now it takes years only for a brief chat with your boyhood friends. I had not met him for two years. Some years back even a day would have been hard to pass sans them.

Quotes about Economics

W ell! Fed up with the boring Economics?? Let us see what others have to say about this strange field of study. I f all economists were laid end to end, they would not reach a conclusion.  George Bernard Shaw E conomics is extremely useful as a form of employment for economists.  John Kenneth Galbraith An economist is an expert who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happen today.  Laurence J. Peter A n economist is a man who states the obvious in terms of the incomprehensible.  Alfred A. Knopf An economist is a man who knows a hundred ways of making love but doesn’t know any women.  Art Buchwald F or those of you who don't understand Reaganomics, it's based on the principle that the rich and the poor will get the same amount of ice. In Reaganomics, however, the poor get all of theirs in winter.   Morris Udall B lessed are the young, for they will inherit the national debt. More funny Herber...
