I had wanted to appear in CSS since the time I graduated. However because of admission in University for my Master degree in Economics and later on being busy with doing a 9-5 job i had no chance to sit in this rigorous test of knowledge, skills and patience for so long. I applied for it in 2013 and was all set to come to Peshawar from my home town of Chitral when on the very morning when i was travelling, the Lawari road was closed because of heavy snowfall. This hinderance has dashed the hopes of hundreds of aspirants like me who have missed their tests, interviews and jobs because of this unavoidable blockade of the district during winters. Our smooth journey to Gilgit from Pindi ended up with a sudden break in gorges of the mountainous track leading to Pattan after around an hour travel from Bisham. This is a harsh part of the journey in the Kohistan district of KP. There is no coverage of any mobile network and the time i am writing this is 3 am in the early morning of February 2014. We are in a car, in which along with me are 3 guys of Pk army and a driver. All are in deep slumber specially the driver who took this blockade as blessing and immediately went to sleep. It seems it ll take quite a time for any tangible outcome of this situation. So hoping for the best i am too going to take a nap. Have a good time.

The newly built tunnel is wide and quite impressive at the entrance. However inside there is much work to be done. The total length of the project is 133 KM which include access road on both sides and the main tunnel which is of 8.5 KM. It is the longest tunnel in Pakistan for road access, however the length of Nelum Jhelum Project's tunnel located in Kashmir is 25 KM. English Channel connecting France and Britain under the sea is 51 KM while th e longest metro/rapid transit tunnel is Guangzhou Metro: Line 3 which a total length of 60 KM.
