While I was at QAU huts for breakfast last week, I noticed this painting on a bare mud wall, drawn by a Baloch Student of QAU. Simply awesome. There is lot of talent but unfortunately we are wasting it with guns and bullets.

This resulted India suspending trade with Pakistan calling its currency as overvalued. Pakistan industrial growth has not been impressive. Pressing Economic Problems of Pakistan

While going through the current turmoil of governance and law and order, Pakistan economic problems are yet to see an end. The new government successfuly negotiated an IMF deal but it too came at a cost, yesterday there was an increase of around 5% on Month to Month basis, which on yearly basis is more than 60% of increase) in oil prices. However the real price hike bomb was this time dropped in the form of increase in Electricity Tarrif which went up from 40% to 80% depeding upon the consumption of an household. Being the main inputs of virtaully every produced goods and as well as services, this increase will have its repercussion to come in the coming days. Inflation specially the food prices are going to go up which coupled with the losing value of PKR are going to contribute to the poor masses of the pure land. Getting admission in Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad

Today is the most memorable day of my life, as I finally passed my PGD from AIOU Isalmabad. This of out of sheer diligence, perseverance, frustation and not loosing heart to sit in countless exam and yes of course also with a stamina comparing bull who is yoked all the month long during ploughing season back in my village. The story starts half a decade ago, I applied for admission in this "prestigious" seat of learning in the early 2009.  On a fateful day in the summer of July 2009, what I started was a diploma in Youth Development Work from the Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. The university infamous for churning out degrees however came to be a nightmare for me. What supposed to be a one and half year Post Graduate Diploma took a whole fours years and two months to complete. This does not includes the lag between the application for admission and the actual start of classes. I would have perhaps successfully completed a PhD degree had I invested so much amount of

Missile Fire and PKR hitting 100 against Dollar

Well there is a good news and there is a bad news. Keeping in view the current situation of the country i ll save the good news for the latter part of the post so first the bad news, PKR decpreciated to new lows of Rs. 100 against USD. Zardari should be laughing in his palace with this automatic surge in his dollars kept saftely abroad in the vaults of Swiss bank and so many other like him. Well the good news is such that this "tiny" matter of economics seems not a big deal. According to the respected ISPR our country has achieved another milestone in its pursuit of Missile firing- Another missile is fired with some range i don't remember (as there are so much of them, u can't really remember their details). No matter it is good enough to reach the town of Booni which is located at a distance of 75 KM. Good enough if it could be put to service for delivery of mails, food or other rather being jealously guarded at some unknown location for eternity. So the good news ca
